Nigeria are ready to play with Burundi

Today is the day we have all been waiting for. Today’s opening Group B game against Burundi marks the beginning of the Journey to the Super Eagles fourth African Cup of Nations title in Egypt.
The match against the Swallows of Burundi will hold at the 20,000–capacity Alexandria Stadium from 6.00 p.m. Nigerian time.
 
However, Burundi is in their debutant appearance at African football’s top table while Egypt 2019 is Nigeria’s 18th attempt, with three titles, four silver medals and five bronze medals to show for her efforts.
 
Nigeria, which is reappearing in this competition for the first time since it beat Burkina Faso to win the 2013 edition, will also meet Guinea and Madagascar in the battle to qualify for the second round of the competition.
