An Air Force Officer identified as Val Monfort Sixtus has died after being shot by a police Sergeant on Wednesday, 26th December in Calabar, Cross River State.

Information gathered revealed that the incident happened at Unity Bank ATM Stand along Marian Road, Calabar, few hours to the Carnival Calabar Cultural Parade.

According to a statement issued and signed by the Nigeria Air Force, NAF Special Mobility Group, Calabar on the 26th December, 2018, the shot Airman remains have been taken to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, UCTH.
