UK cautions against movement to 21 states in Nigeria
Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) of the United Kingdom has advised British nationals against venturing out to 21 states in Nigeria.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) of the United Kingdom has advised British nationals against making a trip to 21 states in Nigeria.
In an announcement on its site "refreshed June 17, 2019" and "still momentum at June 18, 2019," the FCO recorded the states as: Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, Gombe, "riverine territories of Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River States inside 20 kilometers .
"The FCO prompts against everything except basic travel to: Bauchi State, Zamfara State, Kano State, Kaduna State, Jigawa State, Katsina State, Kogi State, inside 20 kilometers of the outskirt with Niger in Sokoto and Kebbi States, non-riverine regions of Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers State and Abia State."
